Free Spirit Art has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website: http://www.freespiritart.com.
We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our Web site statistics. We don't use it for anything else.
Our site uses cookies to keep track of your shopping cart and for no other purpose. The only cookie you might get from us would relate to what you put in your shopping cart, which cookie would expires in three days.
Our site uses an order form for customers to request our prints. We collect contact information on our customers, such as their email addresses and financial information (like their account or credit card numbers) -- but only from buying customers. Contact information from the order form is used to send orders to our customers and for no other purpose. The customer's contact information is used to get in touch with the customer only if necessary to deliver what has been ordered. We do not maintain or use a database of email addresses of our customers or visitors, nor do we send our any promotional or other mailings.
Visitors and customers will never receive any promotional or other mailings from Free Spirit Art. The only email you might receive from us would be directly related to a particular purchase you have made.
Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for products and services only.
Security
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Information is not stored on the server. We use PGP to encrypt and decrypt any personal information as it is being sent over the web. (For all practical purposes, PGP is uncrackable.) We use a secure online credit card processing service. We never see and do not keep a copy of your actual credit card numbers. Note that our security certificate is in the name of Robert Marlborough Jr., the owner of the website hosting service we use.
Choice/Opt-Out
Our site does not collect information such as email addresses for the purpose of sending out mailings, so there is no procedure for either opting into or out of our address list -- because we do not have one.
