Custer's Last Fight by Cassily Adams
(1843-1921) is by far the best known painting of the Battle of the Little Bighorn. Cassily Adams painted this interpretation of Custer's Last Stand on wagon canvas in the 1880's.
The painting was later hung in a Saint Louis saloon and was then acquired by the Anheuser Busch Brewing Company.
It was then reproduced and used as an advertising poster to sell beer.
